The Red Kit in Print Magazine

The Red Kit was designed by myself and Carlos Vigil while we worked at Tilt Studio, Inc. The kit is a rough and tumble, ultra sturdy, worst case scenario survival guide for any public relations nightmare. Produced for SSP America’s marketing department, it was designed to be a field guide for employees on company policy during an emergency. A special bindery was used for the folded wrap vinyl cover and much of the finishing was hand done.

The kit was totally inclusive and custom. Covered in tough red vinyl, with interior clear pockets, there was a place for everything one might need. Finished off with a minimal, typographically driven design direction the piece is viually exciting and easy to use.

The Red kit was included in Print’s Regional Design Annual for the Baltimore/Washington area. Which, we were obviously quite excited about.

  • Saddle stitched handbook with transparent red mylar cover and vinyl stickers

  • Fold out poster
  • Clear vinyl zippered pocket
